Compliance Manager, Asset Management recruitment
The Company
Our client is an international financial institution with a significant presence in the Asia market and poised for further growth. Due to expansion plans throughout the Asia Pacific region an opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager to join a well developed compliance team and assist in the ongoing regulatory compliance.
The Role
- Develop, implement, maintain and review the bank's processes, framework, and tools;
- Monitor, manage and advise Head of Compliance in regulatory matters;
- Conduct field audits to assess compliance;
- Monitor and provide compliance advice on changes in regulatory/legislation changes which will impact the bank's business;
- Liaise with Regulators,
- Conduct training and promoting awareness of compliance issues within the bank;
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures;
- Liaising with the management team to develop and implement changes within the compliance framework;
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or related discipline, with professional qualification is highly preferable. You must have minimum 5 years' post compliance working experience in legal and/or compliance in financial services industry. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
