Key Roles Responsibilities
To assist in the development of a strong compliance culture
To assist in the growth and development of the Swiss business through advice and guidance in relation to the various legal and regulatory requirements of Money Laundering Prevention and Sanctions
To review client profiles for new relationships and monitor and perform assurance of periodic client reviews
To ensure the business is aware of upcoming changes in law and regulation providing advice in the implementation of or changes to policies
To provide advice to the business including but not limited to client on boarding, sanctions, Swiss financial regulatory environment, group and business policies
To ensure that regulatory reporting is completed on time including PEP reporting to the Group
To assist in the organization, development and implementation of internal procedure manuals, committee and business reports and other ad hoc projects
To perform interpretive risk based compliance reviews to obtain assurance as to tcompliance with regulator requirements and Key Control Standards
Assisting in preparing Compliance training programs
To assist in the organization, development and implementation of internal procedure manuals, committee and business reports and other ad hoc projects
To conduct investigations into actual or attempted frauds perpetrated against the Bank and situation within the Bank which involve staff activities of an improper nature
Support and Help the Head of Compliance /MLRO fulfilling all his/her obligations
To make judgments on whether an internal SAR has merit and should be reported to MROS
Ensure that all external literature/marketing/advertising material relating to Investments is compliant to appropriate standards and codes
Ensure that all new/renewed Investment Products are compliant with Swiss / Group regulations and guidelines

Qualifications Skills
Good understanding of Standard Chartered Bank products, their structures, the risks associated with them and how they are impacted by legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assertiveness and diplomacy skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
High attention to detail
Fluent in English and French
3 to 5 years experience at a similar financial institution or regulator or compliance consultancy with a proven track record in the area of Swiss banking law and regulation
Strong analytical skills
Strong responsibility and oraganisatiooon skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervidsion and to complete tsks in timely manner
