Compliance Manager Job in Las Vegas 89119, Nevada US
Successful candidate will serve as the primary compliance resource for Nevada State Bank, an affiliate of Zions Bancorporation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all compliance initiatives are implemented
- Work with Corporate Compliance Office to implement and monitor various regulatory requirements such as Fair Lending, Privacy, UDAAP, AML, etc.
- Manage Regulatory compliance exams and internal audits; work closely with regulators on all regulatory issues.
- Assist business in achieving and maintaining "satisfactory" results or better on all internal and external audits, exams, and reviews.
- Maintain education and certifications
- Be aware of regulation changes
- Board Reporting and meetings as required
- Attend and participate in meetings; committees, councils, workgroups (both w/ compliance and in individual bank)
- Participate in the review of new products and marketing materials. Monitor technology projects for Bank level impacts
- Update and approve policies and procedures when applicable
- Stay abreast of changes occurring on individual Banks' website and work with webmaster to make change.
As Liason for Nevada State Bank and Corporate Compliance successful candidate will also:
- Be the face of compliance and the go to person for compliance issues
- Know, understand and be aware of bank risk areas
- Identify specific training as needed to business units where risk has been identified, and deliver or assist in delivery as necessary
Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of compliance policies, procedures, regulations and laws or other.directly related experience, managerial experience required. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements. Expert knowledge of compliance policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Must have good communication, analysis, organization, customer service and management skills. Requires advanced knowledge of a professional field. Requires a considerable working knowledge of other related fields and the ability to apply that information to current role. Applies advanced principles, theories and concepts. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. CRCM preferred.
