Compliance Manager MNC Insurance $45-60K 12mth contract recruitment
The Company
A multi-national insurance company is urgently looking for a Compliance Manager, initially on a 12 months contract to permanent basis.
The Role
As a Compliance Manager, you will conduct the following:Provide oversight to ensure the effective integration of the compliance program within all aspects of the business.
- Maintain a current Compliance plan that incorporates all facets of compliance requirements across all business functions.
- Provide guidance and procedures on all new internal compliance initiatives as well as all insurance and securities laws and regulation updates.
- Work with the country, regional and international teams to ensure compliance is built into the business processes, such as:
- proper compliance training;
- sales material is in compliance;
- requirements are properly documented;
- compliance plan is fully implemented and all compliance manuals are in place
- customer complaints are properly;
- appropriate processes and controls are in place to monitor compliance with laws, regulations and company policies;
- changes in laws or regulations are appropriately reflected in changes to policies and procedures and properly communicated to personnel;
Your Profile
To qualify as a Compliance Manager, you possess the following:
- University degree
- Big 4 experience + at least 2 years of compliance experience in financial institution experience, preferably with life insurance operations
- Experience on dealing with regulators such as HKMA, SFC, IA
- Familiar with codes and regulations of SFC, IA and industrial associations
- Immediately available is highly preferred and will be considered first
