Position:
Compliance, Manager or Senior Manager (Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Director)
Job Description:
- Assist the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Director in a broad area of responsibilities in compliance;
- Supervise and manage the compliance functions in overseas offices of the group (including joint ventures);
- Supervise and manage the regulatory compliance related to licenses and registrations of the group in overseas jurisdictions (e.g. US, etc)
- Manage and implement all regulatory provisions that affect the group and develop the group’s policies and procedures;
- Advise senior management and handle enquiries from different departments on compliance matters;
- Conduct research and provide update on compliance requirements and regulations and implement applicable policies and procedures;
- Design and conduct regular compliance monitoring procedures and checking;
- Handle other tasks assigned and ad-hoc projects.
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or related discipline;
- Minimum 6 years of experience in handling compliance matters in fund houses and regional experience in monitoring Taiwan and China offices is an advantage;
- Familiar with SFC codes and guidelines and Securities and Futures Ordinance, knowledge and work experience related to US Investment Advisors Act is an advantage;
- Good analytical and communication skills and able to work independently;
- Team player.
