Compliance Manager, Payments and Cash Management recruitment
Headquartered in London, HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world.
An excellent Greenfield opportunity currently exists for an experienced Compliance Manager to join a newly created team in HSBC’s Commercial Banking division. The overall purpose of the role will be to support the Commercial Banking Group Compliance Officer in the direction of PCM Compliance globally by:
- Helping PCM implement policy and standards for PCM related Compliance and regulatory issues.
- Supporting bank management regarding their responsibility for PCM compliance
- Implementing Compliance input to the development of payments products strategy, customer propositions and fulfilment solutions for PCM, and HSBCnet as well as supporting the ongoing decision making for day to day business in PCM.
- Support management of all regulatory and compliance issues relating to the delivery of PCM products globally, supporting business strategy and working with compliance colleagues to deliver.
- Help implement policies and procedures and support business in meeting regulatory requirements, notably pertaining to the PCM Product suite.
- Ensure compliance issues are considered and addressed for all PCM propositions and products across the whole Group.
- Protect business through core contributions to PCM risk forums, notably regarding product development/ review.
- Support GCO in discharging responsibilities regarding reputational risk.
To be considered for this position you will ideally be an experienced Compliance professional with a proven track record of defining and implementing effective business compliance policies and procedures within a multi-geographical matrix management environment. Alternatively you may have a background within PCM (or similar) and be interested in making a move into a Compliance position. Ultimately you will require first rate interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and be a highly motivated, self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
