Compliance Manager recruitment

Having taken a more holistic approach to their customer needs to deliver value beyond just providing travel insurance they have experienced phenomenal growth in recent years. As a result of their continuing success they are seeking a seasoned compliance professional to ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations, makes prudent commercial decisions, and has effective risk compliance processes in place to facilitate the future growth of the business

Key responsibilities will include;
· The design and implementation of compliance systems that are effective and evolve with the business
· Conducting internal and external compliance and risk management audits
· Managing the relationship and reporting to ASIC and other relevant regulatory bodies
· Working with Sales Marketing to ensure published material has appropriate sign off.
· Supporting the internal disputes resolution team and liaison with the external dispute resolution body.
· Working with the RC Committee to address any breaches, compliance failures, complaints and or disputes
· Supporting the business with the monitoring and supervision of authorised representatives and external service providers.

You are an experienced compliance professional with a sound understanding of the travel / general insurance sector. You are recognised for your ability to foster strong relationships and influence at all levels. You demonstrate a hands-on, team oriented approach and the ability to deliver results in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of Insurance law and the Corporations Act are essential, compliance qualifications are desirable.
