COMPLIANCE MANAGER recruitment
In addition to our Investment Management business we are also the Responsible Entity for the Australian domiciled unit trusts managed by US based Bridgewater Associates, LP, Manager of Global Mining Investments Limited, a listed investment company on the ASX (code: GMI) and Manager (through a wholly owned subsidiary) of the US Domiciled Bell Australia Trust and Bell International Trust. Assets under management or administration exceed $4 billion.
The Compliance Manager position is an autonomous role that is responsible for delivering to management outcomes of compliance with required regulations, controls and standards. It is responsible for design, implementation, monitoring and execution of compliance and risk management frameworks. It is also responsible for proactive consideration and responsive advice relating to compliance matters. You will manage the overall compliance function and program.
As an experienced compliance professional you will have:
- More than 8 years relevant Australian experience with an Investment Manager, but applicants with exposure to US securities regulation and hedge funds are also encouraged to apply
- Significant exposure to all compliance disciplines and related legislation and experience dealing with industry regulators
- Good communication, time management and investigative skills, along with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Industry related qualifications are required.
A remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, according to experience.
