Our Client is a global financial institution.

The Role
You will oversee the compliance function relating to the funds. With it, you will draft and implement Compliance Manual comprising of compliance policies and procedures. Revise and update compliance policies and procedures to complement changes in legal, regulatory and internal requirements. Co?ordinate and provide input on policies and procedures of various departments in the company

Further, you will monitor and enforce compliance by the Company and their staff with the internal and external legal, regulatory, codes and policy and procedural requirements. Act as liaison with the relevant regulatory authorities and agencies to deal with, clarify and resolve compliance issues. Provide advice relating to licensing the company and relevant staff and to liaise with the regulators on any licensing applications on issuers. Setup procedures and conduct regular trade surveillance for suspicious activities and anti?money laundering procedures. Conduct regular briefing on laws, regulations, directives and company's internal policies.

Your Profile
You should have minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in compliance, audit in fund management. Good knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and familiar with organizational best practices. You demonstrate a good understanding of the local regulations including Securities Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act and other MAS regulations. Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments. Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), strong ability to work under pressure and ability to build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
