Compliance Officer, Bahrain recruitment
The ideal candidate has to provide legal support in relation to general business activities in the Gulf region in order to ensure compliance with GCC rules, regulators, and supervisory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with documentation and related matters with government agencies.
- Support compliance requirements, processes, and procedures within multiple GCC jurisdictions.
- Draft or review Non-Disclosure Agreements, Engagement Letters with vendors, Employment Letters and Termination Letters.
- Assist in the preparation of legal materials, memos, and other documentation in support of the investment placement activities.
- Provide legal support in relation to executive compensation programmes and follow up on all legal employee issues with the local counsel.
- Liaise with local regulatory authorities in multiple GCC jurisdictions in relation to compliance and other legal matters as they relate to the firm.
Requirements:
- Must be a qualified attorney who is a member of the Bahrain Bar and should be qualified to practice law in the US or the UK.
- Candidate must have at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in the Gulf region, ideally in the banking industry.
