Compliance Officer Cisco Systems Capital GmbH.

Overall:
The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the regulatory and statutory requirements of Cisco Systems Capital GmbH. This includes ensuring that all reporting and filings are completed in a timely manner, audit findings are addressed and that  Cisco Systems Capital GmbH complies with all aspects of the Minimum Requirements for Risk Management- – MaRisk (Mindestanforderungen an das Risikomanagement – MaRisk) for Leasing and Factoring companies. This is a manager position with a reporting line to both; the Directors of Cisco Systems Capital GmbH, and the Global Compliance Officer.

Relationships:
• Is a member of the Global Compliance Organization within Cisco Capital Cisco
• Directors of Cisco Systems Capital GmbH, Support orgs, Legal, Tax, Sales, Operations, Sales Support, Credit Risk Management Internal Audit Officer, Internal Audit Team, Statutory Audit Team, Information Technology, Human Resources the rest of Cisco Capital globally.

Deliverables:
• The Compliance Officer will hold the following roles and be responsible for the associated activities. The Anti-Money Laundering Reporting Officer (AMLRO), The Anti-Fraud Officer; The Outsourcing Officer and The Internal Audit Officer.
 • Maintain and update the compliance database for changes in regulatory requirements, notices and filings.
• Participate in global and regional compliance discussions in particular around new capabilities in Germany.
• Prepare and report quarterly to the Board of Directors.
• Refine the compliance policy, processes and controls.
• Plan and coordinate Internal and Statutory audits.
• Ensure resolution of findings
• Liaise with the BaFin and BundesBank either directly or via their website to ensure that the Compliance Officer remains up to date with new regulations

Travel / Shifts / Flexible Working
• Limited if any travel
• The bulk of work is European office hours with occasional global meetings.

Technical Skills:

• Detailed knowledge of and past experience working with Minimum Requirements for Risk Management- – MaRisk (Mindestanforderungen an das Risikomanagement – MaRisk) (essential)
• Good computer skills: MS Office (essential);
• Fluent / strong communication skills, both written spoken, in English and German (essential)
• Experienced in PowerPoint and Word (essential)
• Strong Presentation skills
• Strong Excel skills a must (essential)

Industry or Sector Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role in a bank or Leasing/factoring firm (essential)

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree that demonstrates strong business/compliance/controlling acumen (advantageous)
• Demonstrated excellence in academic, professional and/or personal endeavours (advantageous)
