Our Client is one of the most important funds services providers worldwide. The bank offers a complete range of investor services and products, including to institutions worldwide.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
As compliance officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Perform regular checks on compliance with the investment policies and the investment restrictions
- Notify investment managers of any breach and to ensure that corrective action is taken
- Draft/ up-date procedures
- Prepare reporting on investment compliance monitoring for internal and external use
- Advise investment managers on all queries in relation to the funds’ investment policies and investment restrictions
- Participate and/ or lead ad-hoc projects dealing with Investment Compliance and/or fund accounting (e.g. analysis of target UCI, structured products, counterparty risk, valuation of complex instruments, hedging techniques …)
- Follow-up on main regulatory developments and as the case may be, to analyze those developments and write up recommendations for implementation to management
- Assist in the elaboration of the investment objectives and policies sections in prospectus
- Provide Support to the Fiduciary Services Management through regular and ad hoc communication
- Provide support to client when expertise required
- Ensure collaborative relationship across jurisdictional, functional and cultural boundaries
YOUR PROFILE:
For this challenging position we are looking for candidates with the following characteristics:
- Minimum a first experience in the Investment Compliance area
- Sound financial industry knowledge (ie: UCITS IV,…)
- Mandatory English, German. French would be a strong asset (Written/Oral)
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Superior interpersonal and networking skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across jurisdictional, functional and cultural boundaries
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement superior solutions
- Superior communication, presentation
- Superior/Relevant Educational Background (Finance)
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Ability to solve problem in an effective manner
