Compliance Officer (Regulatory Reporting/Data Analyst)
Responsibilities:
• Daily assessment of LT Reporting and Large Positions to monitor speculative limits of Exchange.
• Coordinate futures and swaps regulatory reporting matters related to USA regulations around the globe.
• Prepare various regulatory reports related to positions in futures and swaps.
• Interact with Regulators on Reporting matters to address current, and proposed, rules and regulations.
• Assist others in Legal, Compliance and AML, globally, with information requests and regulatory issues.
• Perform UAT and other systems which are work-related to new products and new operational initiatives as directed by Head of Compliance for Region.
• Assist to position Compliance as a business partner to facilitate business in accordance with all relevant rules and requirements.
• Participate in working groups to provide input in issues or requirements in relation to new Dodd Frank related requirements.
• Assist in the training of staff within NUSA in relation to rules and regulations, focusing particularly on weaknesses identified by the Compliance Program.
• Assist in dealing with breaches of rules and regulations and procedures.
• Assist with exchange and regulatory enquiries and investigations.
• Proactively position company for regulatory changes and new developments.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
• Previous Compliance or related Operations experience
• Experience in implementing monitoring systems and performing various monitoring tasks, including desk reviews.
• Awareness of derivatives and securities products.
• Familiarity with GMI.
• Ability to work under own initiative and experience when targets and tasks are set.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and problems.
• Ability to use and analyze computer programs to enter and search data
