Compliance Officer (Transversal) recruitment

The Company
Client is a global European bank.

The Role
The overall function is to work closely with the group compliance team in compliance related duties relating to internal employees and group's entities.

The transversal compliance officer is required to maintain, update blacklists, and co-ordinate searches of blacklisted names against customer databases by different Group's entities. You are required to perform staff screening and sensitivity classifications, manage Annual Declaration of Vested Interest process and monitor staff's completion of Compliance training- AML, etc. You will process staff's annual Personal Account Dealing declarations, follow up on staff's declaration of directorships in external entities. You will be involved in updating Singapore Compliance Manual and Transversal Procedures Manual.

The transversal compliance officer will also review business requirements and perform user acceptance testing of Transversal applications. You will collate statistics and information to fulfil Head Office reporting requirements for CIB and other local BNPP entities, respond to inspection/Internal audit other requests for information and update SG Ethics and Compliance website.

Your Profile
The successful compliance officer will be a degree holder in Banking and Finance. You will have 3 years of relevant prior experience in compliance. Candidates with Compliance certification in Anti-money Laundering are preferred.
