Compliance Officer/HR Specialist

This highly visible position, reporting directly to the President, is responsible for supporting operations to nine offices.  Responsibilities include utilizing business analytical tools to ensure compliance with contract compliance and Company policies and procedures.  Major responsibilities are:

·         Ensure quality control of certification documentation

·         Monitor and review utility regulations to ensure that Company is aware of new requirements and is operating within the law.

·         Conducts regular audits and coordinates ongoing monitoring of documentation adequacy.

·         Provides feedback and focused training on the results of auditing and monitoring.

·         Coordinates specialized training required by contract.

·         Ensure timely updates to database

·         Learn new technologies and advise Company of ways to create more efficiency and organization within departments

·         Provides high level HR consulting services and training to offices.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or comparable years of experience

·         Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office with highly developed business analytic skills.

·         Experience in conducting investigations related to compliance

·         Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills

·         Demonstrated strong Human Resources leadership and management capabilities

·         Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.

·         High level verbal, written and presentation skills

·         Ability to multi-task, prioritize and expedite job responsibilities and initiatives

·         Ability to travel, including overnight stays
