Our client is a leading global bank.

The Role
You shall lead Compliance projects across the Asia Pacific region. You will analyse the Banking processes, workflows and system features and manage projects with the objective to improve operational efficiency, enhance operational risk management and to meet business goals as well as regulatory requirements and long term objectives of the Bank.

Apart from projects regarding process improvement or business solutions implementation, you may be required to participate in other adhoc and strategic projects.

Duties of the role will be to make sure the objectives of the project are well defined and meet the compliance unit's needs. To perform systematic business analysis in view of evaluating as well operational as technical impacts. To schedule the project together with the various stakeholders including business, IT, operations. To ensure the due delivery of projects in time and according to the objectives and sponsors expectations. To anticipate issues, to make sure milestones are achieved and to alert management of any major deviance from the original plan. To organize the communication of the project: project committees, steering committees, ad-hoc meetings. To understand and apply group Standard methodology where deemed appropriate.

Your Profile
To be considered, you should have minimum 3 years of banking experience with 2 years in project management. With strong project management skills, you have a keen interest in process reengineering. Prior experience in handling compliance projects will be highly desirable. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and is highly organized. You are personable and have some exposure to CMMI methodology.
