Full Job Description

Exciting and Unique opportunity for a Compliance Risk Manager to join a London based online deliverable foreign exchange business regulated by the FSA.

* This is a challenging new role with a broad scope of responsibilities.
* Reports in to the Global Head of Compliance of the parent company and will be responsible for managing risk inside the business (including credit risk and fraud risk) as well as managing the company's regulatory compliance obligations.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
* On-going development of the company's risk management framework
* Drafting of risk management policies and procedures
* Development of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) risk and Fraud risk reporting and alerts
* Ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements
* Monthly Reporting to Senior Management
* Daily monitoring and management of key risk metrics including credit risk, market risk and fraud risk exposures
* Regulatory engagement - including on site visits and responding to enquiries from UK regulators FSA and HMRC
* Conducting compliance monitoring and assurance testing
* Preparation and delivery of staff risk management and compliance training

Skill Set Required:
* The ideal candidate will have a strong risk management background within the financial services industry, including exposure to debit and credit card payments.
* Experience with the FSA and HMRC is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the organisation as well as with external stakeholders including regulator.
* Strong written skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to work in a stand alone capacity.
* Money remittance / payments experience.
* Knowledge of the Payment Services Regulations / Payment services Directive.
