Compliance has an integral role in Deutsche Bank - promoting lawful and ethical business conduct to maintain our integrity and reputation amongst the leading providers of financial solutions. Using the highest standards of practice, it prevents and detects violations of law through identifying and managing financial services regulatory risk.
Job Description
- Conduct daily monitoring work to identify large and short positions in relevant securities against reportable thresholds
- Investigate, prepare and submit disclosure filings to regulators, exchanges and issuers within stipulated deadlines
- Monitor against regulatory position limits such as foreign ownership limits, sensitive sectors, takeovers to ensure these are not breached
- Liaise with other business divisions across regions to follow up on data and disclosure issues in a timely and professional manner
- Research and analyse regulatory rule updates and implement process changes as required, sharing knowledge with team members
- Respond to beneficial ownership enquiries from external parties
- Support ongoing project work in respect to various regional and global initiatives
Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level
- Strong attention to detail and able to display effective organisational and prioritisation skills
- Must be able to cope under pressure and adhere to daily deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and external parties
- Self-starter with ability to demonstrate initiatives to identify and improve knowledge and processes
- Strong team player who is able to take on challenging responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills
- Fluency in an Asian language is an advantage
- Required to have flexible approach to working hours
- Previous regulatory reporting experience gained in a financial services institution preferably with experience of regulatory shareholding disclosure
