Compliance Testing Reviewer recruitment
The successful candidate should have the following responsibilities:
- Support in establishing effective and optimal Test Plans. Identify all relevant RRIs, together with their inherent risk rating applicable to the identified compliance risks to be covered in a review.
- Participate in Compliance testing reviews planning and developing a test program.
- Execute the test program, and document the test detail and result at required standard.
- Assess the risk level of exceptions identified, and communicate effectively with the related parties.
- Propose solutions and help process owner develop corrective action plan (CAP).
- Support or perform a CAP validation review and validation and formal report issuances/publications.
- Lead or support in reviews and monitor test progress, test results and observations, adequacy of controls, CAP management ensuring that CAPs adequately address the issues/risks and are resolved timely and validated as required.
- Understanding the complexities of Citi Legal Vehicle structure in the country and the corresponding regulatory expectations.
- Understanding and developing a good knowledge of complex banking products (e.g. equities, derivatives) segments (e.g. private banking).
- Developing skills of testing, analytical and proactive assessment of emerging risks/trends with a 'big picture" view.
- Building and cultivating connections and partnerships across the business/function.
The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:
- Four to Six years in the financial services industry or in Big Four with financial institution engagement.
- Experience in Internal audit function in banks, compliance, control /or risk management role is desirable.
- Professional qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Balanced approach to Business issues, specially from a Compliance Perspective.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to use technology and analytics in problem solving.
- Strong Execution skills.
- Strategic ability to identify emerging Compliance risks.
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to speak one's mind and be able to stand firm, while balanced, on key issues specially when confronted with senior management with opposing view.
