COMPLIANCE TRAINING MANAGER / CORPORATE & RETAIL BANKING

 

Our client, a global financial financial institution is looking for a Compliance Training Manager to lead their training and communications programme across their corporate retail banking business. The individual would help to mitigate regulatory risks to protect and enhance the reputation of the firm.

Duties Include:

·Responsible for coordinating and delivering of the compliance training and development plan.

·Develop and amend new and existing training materials in line with group policy changes, external regulatory requirements, new business and product initiatives.

·Responsible for delivering awareness training set by Group function and ensuring relevancy to corporate and retail banking business.

·Responsible for developing and managing the corporate retail banking compliance intranet content and structure in order to maintain up to date regulatory communications.

·Deliver ad hoc compliance training where appropriate to keep abreast of new regulation.

·Identify new opportunities for training in respect of compliance and related issues.

·Conduct analysis within the business to develop the annual compliance training programme ensuring changes or other requirements are effectively accounted for.

·Develop an effective relationship with other control functions within the corporate retail banking business

·Provide senior management with relevant management information and report where concerns are escalated and appropriate.

The successful candidate will ideally have a financial services background with an ability to deliver training across a varied range of compliance subjects. You will be aware of current regulatory issues affecting the UK financial services industry and possess excellent communication skills to deal with all levels of staff.
