COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN TECHNICIAN

Job Description: Draft rack and production drawings, engineering drawings and other documentation as required to support changes to the system during sustainment and to ensure documentation is current. Required Skills: Minimum five years experience working in computer aided design. Prior experience with a computer-aided drafting system (e.g., AutoCAD, Visio) and associated equipment (e.g., plotters); Experience in applying Department of Defense (DoD) and military specifications and standards governing hardware, particularly as applicable to engineering drawings and technical data; Experience developing drawing packages that will minimally contain cabinet assemblies, chassis assemblies, associated electrical and mechanical documentation for the system components providing for variations in configuration; Experience in preparing Engineering Level II drawings (A.K.A. Product Drawings) from sketches, redlines, etc. Qualified applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum requirements for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI with a poly clearance required. Desired Education (including Major): Candidate shall have an Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology, Electronic Publishing or Computer Science.
