Position Description:

JOB DUTIES: Solve complex business and computing problems by finding alternative uses for existing resources or by creating new technology.

1- Conduct logical analysis of business, scientific, engineering, and other technical problems.
2-Research and formulate mathematical, computer and scientific models of problems for solution by computers for complex software reporting and business intelligence applications.
3- Anlayze problems, solve and develop solutions involving computer hardware and software reporting and analytical needs.
4- Evaluate project plans and proposals to assess feasibility issues and upgrade/adapt hardware.
5- Apply theoretical expertise and innovation to create solutions with new technology
6-Apply theoretical expertise and innovation to create or apply new technology
7-Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments
8- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to determine computing needs and system requirements
Meet with managers, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
9- Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures
Develop performance standards, and evaluate work in light of established standards to modify and assist with further designing of company corporate data architecture
10- integrate global information sources with localized delivery
11- Conduct logical analyses of business, scientific, and other technical problems to identify and modify existing complex algorithms for code implementation, testing, maintenance and modeling solutions.
12- Candidate will serve as member of our advanced, high-paced engineering team responsible for research, design, development and implementation of our business intelligence software and will report to the Director of Technology Development; will supervise 3 high-level engineers.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field PLUS minimum of 7 years progressively complex experience working with IT performing senior level software engineering. Extensive, proven ability to architect and engineer complex systems required. Substantial proven progressive, in-depth knowledge of all facets of all facets of computer software engineering as a discipline, and proven ability to perform complex functions using state of art technologies; a strong understanding of computer hardware, and ability to analyze complex systems. Working knowledge of healthcare industry HIPAA processing standards required.
