Position Description:
The Instructor for the Computer Support Technician program will introduce students to topics such as operating systems, networking concepts, security, office applications and professional communication.
Through assignments and projects, students will gain familiarity with software applications and their uses for producing emails, spreadsheets, letters, memorandums, resumes.
Student will learn how to recognize security threats, describe basic networking models, and troubleshoot common IT problems.
An emphasis on professional demeanor and communication skills is also placed on the students.

Qualifications:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Including Word, Outlook Excel
Must have 2 years networking, PC hardware support, and/or help desk experience.
Minimum of 4 years recent experience using these applications in a professional setting and a related Associates Degree required (Bachelors Degree is preferred.)
Must have demonstrated management skills
Individual must possess strong oral and written communication proficiency
Position requires exceptional social interaction skills
Individual must be professional in all aspects of position - including appearance, demeanor, and attitude
MS Office Certifications a plus
Ongoing professional development/continuing education required to ensure subject matter proficiency
Previous teaching experience highly desirable.
