COMPUTER LAB MONITOR

Duties and Responsibilities Monitor scheduled computer lab by assisting/supporting students with non-assignment questions. Maintain order and safeguard lab property. Replace expendable computing supplies as necessary. Report equipment malfunctions. Ensure that lab is opened and closed on schedule and that students sign in and out of the lab. Assist students with any non-assignment problems or questions and provide technical assistance as needed; refill printers with paper as needed and perform other related duties as assigned. Some positions will require travel to off-campus locations in Clarksburg and /or Bridgeport (Byrd Aerospace Center) Minimum Qualifications Must have a working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software, ability to work independently, ability to present a service-oriented professional approach in dealing with end-users, ability to physically lift and move desktop computing equipment. Ability to maintain lab conducive to student study.
