As a DRS-DS Computer Security Administrator on our JSOTF-P Team, the selected candidate will provide Information Assurance Services for all SOCPAC network domains to include off-site Active Directory Organizational Units such a 1-1 SFG (A), Torii Station, Japan, and the future Logistics Support Facility in Singapore, Project and Configuration Management, Specialized Server, and JOC IT Systems support at the garrison and Signals Detachment TACLAN support in and out of garrison. Candidate may be called upon to accompany government personnel performing Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) or Command Inspections in the theater. The candidate will assist in establishing and maintaining the certification and accreditation of SOCPAC systems across all SOCPAC network domains. The candidate will provide security engineering expertise and perform Secure Configuration Compliance Validation Initiative (SCCVI) Retina Scanning and remediate all SOCPAC network domains using WSUS, SCCM, or other government directed and approved software to facilitate full Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (lAVA) compliance across all SOCPAC network domains. The Candidate will develop and maintain the proper certification and accreditation artifacts and documentation in accordance with Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) directives and Command policies for approval by the SOCPAC lAM. This position will provide computer network defense to ensure compliance with downward directed actions and reporting. The candidate will operate, monitor and maintain all equipment used to integrate, operate, and maintain HBSS across all SOCPAC network domains and ensure complete deployment of HBSS software, monitor, and respond to incidents across all servers, clients and workstations. This position will manage all Information Systems operating on all SOCPAC network domains utilizing VMS which is the DISA directed system used for all vulnerability management and reporting. This person shall comply with the Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (DoD 8570) and must possess the required Information Assurance (IA) baseline certifications commensurate with their assigned duty position as determined by the government. Duties: Ensure compliance with all IA Policies and Procedures. Assess, eliminate and document all systems vulnerabilities. Apply patches and adhere to IAVA requirements as directed. Develop and design network security infrastructure that provides consistent, responsive and secure enterprise network services. Monitor, manage, and coordinate daily incidents for network security operations across all SOCPAC networks. Measure the overall effectiveness of employing network defense capabilities during operations. Provide analytical analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from network operational security resources. Provide in-depth operational assessments to support current operations, provide support for the planning process, and provide security posture recommendations. Develop and maintain the proper certification and accreditation artifacts and documentation in accordance with Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) directives and Command policies for approval by the SOCPAC lAM. Operate, monitor and maintain all equipment used to integrate, operate, and maintain HBSS across all SOCPAC network domains. Ensure complete deployment of HBSS software, monitor, and respond to incidents across all servers, clients and workstations. Manage all Information Systems operating on all SOCPAC network domains utilizing Vulnerability Management System (VMS). Provide post-combat assessments and recommendations in order to improve security effectiveness for future operations. Assist in the implementation of systems security policies, plans and enforce all policies. Determine the progress toward accomplishing tasks, creating effects, and/or achieving objectives. Performance tune network infrastructure and client applications as necessary. All other duties as assigned.
