Job Description Our customer is moving from products to information services. This will ensure discovery, access, retrieval, use, and adding value to geospatial content to support operational missions. A new architecture and business model is oriented toward portal services, network-centric reusable services, and web-based collaboration. You will be assisting our customer in accomplishing its mission and vision. The Computer Security Administrator position includes : Prepare IT security plans through the use of current regulations and facilitates the implementation of governing computer security policies. Establish and maintain the information system security posture for customer. Perform computer security functions. Assist in the development and delivery of computer security awareness products and briefings. Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to computer security and vulnerabilities. Prepare, write and present reports and briefings as required. Ensure documentation meets compliance with prevailing Federal Governing directives for IT systems. Facilitates the certification and accreditation (CA) process by working through stakeholders to meet compliance requirements. Coordinate with CA, VAT, and the Information Assurance offices for all required testing. Identifies risks to computer systems and makes recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure that antivirus and other system security patches are applied and checked on a regular basis. Reviews computer system certification documentation for completeness and accuracy. Develop and maintain throughout the system lifecycle the System Security Authorization Agreement. Participate in the development, analysis and evaluation for suitability of proposed security architectures for new IT systems and networks. Works with CA to define appropriate system and network assurance requirements. Requirements: TS/SCI with a CI poly BS/BA degree 3-6 years of experience ES0412
