SUMMARY/ GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Systems Integration Supervisor the Computer Systems Analyst will plan, implement, coordinate, and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and various business software solutions.  The Computer Systems Analyst will analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance, analyze and implement proposed Systems modifications, coordinate and execute Systems upgrades.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES JOB FUNCTIONS:

·         Assist users in customizing the CMMS to meet specific information-technology needs. 

·         Serve as Systems Administrator for business software solutions.

·         Analyzes workload and computer usage, maintains integration with outside Systems and analyze application downtime.

·         Interact with sub-contractor activities associated with the business software solutions.

·         Coordinates tests of the Systems and participates in trial runs of new and revised Systems and recommends computer equipment changes to obtain more effective operations.

·         Establishes unique work standards and implements methods and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks or as related to programming and unique users.

·         Provides technical assistance and trains users on initial, new or changed computer procedures.

·         Establishes collaborative relationships among the various project principals and constituent groups, with the aim of promoting the concept of integrated Systems.

·         Uses a variety of small hand tools.

·         Plan, organize work, and meet all deadlines. Able to do a variety of tasks in any single day.

·         Able to inspect and diagnose problems to determine corrective repairs.

·         May occasionally be required to operate Government or CGSI-owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.

·         Will be required to perform various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering as required.

·         Organizes and prioritizes work flow to maximize inter-departmental efficiencies.   Recognize process improvements and develops implementation plans.

·         Supports other department staff as needed or directed.

·         Assists other trade groups in daily operations where required.

·         Adheres to the established CGSI safety, personnel, and standard operating procedures and policies.

·         May be required to perform various lower classified duties such as (but not limited to) file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering as required.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

MANDATORY: 

·         Associates degree or higher

·         At least two (2) years of experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.

·         At least two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Desktop Environment (Windows XP).

·         At least two (2) years of experience working with databases.

·         Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including but no limited to: Word, Power-Point, Excel, and Access programs.

·         Familiarity with basic mathematical functions.

·         Extensive knowledge of all office equipment including but not limited to: telephones, copy machines, fax machines, printers, and computers.

·         Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level clearance, after hire.

·         U.S. Citizenship.

·         Limited knowledge of small hand tools.

·         Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.

·         Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

·         Must have excellent organizational skills.

·         Mature judgment and ability to work with little or no supervision.

·         Valid state driver’s license.

·         Ability to team lift up to 75 lbs

·         Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.

 

PREFERRED:

·         Experience with Maximo and/or database software.

·         At least two (2) years of experience in Desktop Support

·         Experience as a Systems Administrator.

·         At least three (3) to five (5) years experience in managing databases, EAM or CMMS.
