Computer Systems Security Analyst
Northrop Grumman Information Sector is seeking a Computer System Security Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Atlanta, GA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Public Health division which focuses on Health IT solutions for the Centers of Disease Control.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Operations Branch Certification and Accreditation work
- Develop, implement, and validate security controls in OPB, including least privilege access to systems
and adherence to password policies
- Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products
- Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design
- Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and
network access
- Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and
information technology security research
- Manage Operations Branch Certification and Accreditation work
- Emphasize least privilege access to infrastructure and hosted systems
- Oversees and documents the corrective actions required to remediate weaknesses documented in
system Plan of Actions and Milestones according to scheduled completion dates and projected resource requirements
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science with (9) years experience, Masters Degree with (7) years, and PhD with (4) years experience
- Demonstrable background in working in a project-based environment with dynamic (changing) requirements
- 5+ years working experience in an IT Security environment minimum
- 3+ years with IT Technical experience or significant exposure that has developed an understanding of Windows
Desktop and Window Server Operating Systems
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and good technical and narrative writing skills
- Certified Information System Security (CISSP) certificate is required
Background in communication, programming/development and project management
This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
