Conference Marketing Assistant Job in London, London UK

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Conference Marketing Assistant to work part time 3 days a week on a contract basis. There is a possibilty it could go permanent depending.
The days you work are flexible and the working hours are 09:00 to 17:30pm.

Responsibilities:

Direct Marketing

•Mining data lists for use in all fax and direct mail campaigns
•Extracting internal delegate and subscriber lists for use in marketing efforts.
•Updating existing data lists that have been created in-house.
•Liaising with contacts at our other education companies to provide lists for marketing (reciprocal activity).
•Updating marketing plans as orders are received.
•Working with the conference producers to ensure that marketing copy is provided on time.
•Ordering the print of conference brochures and letterheads when necessary and ensuring they are delivered in time for initial mailings
•Arranging marketing efforts with internal and external contacts as necessary
•Liaising with the Marketing to book inserts into our internal publications and arranging such inserts as necessary.
•Proofing marketing copy before it is used
•Running tests across the range of channels to develop various marketing methods

Online
•Maintaining websites for each conference (via Content Management System)
•Creating online buttons and banners for the site
•Creating and sending out conference emails as scheduled in the marketing schedule (dreamweaver/html experience required)
•Supplying the Online Marketing team with information on new events to be marketed,

Administration
•Entering all orders received into the respective marketing plans.
•Updating the Spirit database and relevant internal lists in respect of mail and fax suppressions and updating the respective suppression files as necessary.
•Ensuring that mailing seeds are recorded
•Taking phone calls and helping customers with any queries, including administrative where possible.
