Specific Job Description This position will be in support of the Ground Station Branch (GSB) Software Support Program. The general scope of this program is to provide Post Deployment Software Support for multiple GSB systems. Configuration Management/Process Improvement Specialist: -- Configuration Management for CGS/JTT PPSS programs. -- Identify and design processes to streamline project related -- activities for JTT/CGS Attend and conduct QA reviews with SEC Process Group as it relates to CMMI tasks. -- Primary ClearQuest and ClearCase administration, development environment system administration. -- Purchases ? ORF generation, providing follow-up data for SEC approval process. -- Delivery of CDRLs/Monthly reports, weekly reports, Quarterly Interface Status Reports and other deliverables (trip reports, test reports, test procedures, etc). -- Generation of CSB release build CDs and distribution to the development/test team for checkout. -- Participate in PROGRAM Scheduled milestone meetings (SIPT, PDR, CDR, BRR, TRR, DRR, etc.). -- Generation and delivery of Meeting minutes for SCCBs, SERBs, bi-weekly management meetings and other key meetings. -- Peer review participation and record keeping for JTT/CGS. -- If required, maintenance of CGS/JTT Sharepoint Sites. Software Baseline Release Support: -- Generate and delivery letters of AIC testing for CSB releases. -- Prepare S4 packages and follow up with SEC for approval. -- Documentation Generation and Validation (delivery of VDDs/SDPs/CM Plan for CSB releases) -- Coordination with RDIT for software Replication Distribution -- Coordination with FSEs and unit personnel for software installation Tracking and Report. -- Handling all SCRO requirements for Software Releases. This Position is in support of an S3 IDIQ task order, so in addition to the standard LM minimum qualifications, this position must meet the following qualifications as called out in the S3 Labor Category descriptions: Bachelor's degree (Preferred Degree is in Computer Science, or other Scientific Technical discipline) - 10 years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education requirements). Standard Job Description Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system. Coordinates modification records for management control. Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor. Prepares reports of change effect on overall product. Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities. Ensures that customer requirements are implemented and reviews change accounting activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies.
