Due to continued company growth they are looking to recruit a Configuration Engineer to join their Configuration Engineering team.
The Role: Configuration Engineer
As Configuration Engineer you will be responsible for:
+ Management, support to, and delivery of the MMAO modification control process
+ Production of safety documentation ensuring company and regulatory procedures and standards requirements are adequately accounted for
+ Ensure the MMAO Facility Engineering Baseline configuration status is maintained and kept up to date
+ Ensure all Safety Basis arrangements are, and remain, compliant with the appropriate standards and policies to quality, time and cost
+ Ensure Configuration Items (CIs) are maintained under configuration control via the company's change management process
+ Ensure CIs represent the current 'as-is' status
+ Management of the Configuration Baseline
+ Ensure all facility engineering drawings and documentation, e.g. operating and maintenance instructions are accurate and up to date
+ Undertake an assessment of modification requests, with technical expertise support where appropriate, advising the Facility Engineering Manager and the Facility Manager of the impact of such modifications
+ Ensure all modifications to facility engineering plant and processes comply with configuration control procedures
Experience:
As Configuration Engineer you will have experience of:
+ ONC/HNC/Degree in engineering subject or equivalent
+ Experience of Environment, Safety Health (ESH) Management Systems and practise
+ Experience of configuration and modification control
+ Experience of engineering relevant to plant, process design and operation
+ Knowledge of an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) or Meridian knowledge
+ Knowledge of Quality Management procedures
+ Knowledge of plant operation, including configuration control and maintenance requirements
