Configuration Management Analyst II

Perform routine Configuration Management support services for assigned customer product/systems and equipment. -Develops and maintains product configuration data files -Obtain and organize configuration management data required for audits, reviews and changes. Records and coordinates changes with affected organizations and monitors change schedules. Establishes and maintains data bases, records and history files, and program/project data distribution lists -Confers with engineers and other professionals to obtain additional information or to interpret policies and procedures for reporting design changes. Audits inspection or technical documents preparation procedures to verify compliance with contract requirements -Performs various administrative activities such as developing tasks, schedules, preparing status/progress charts and researching assigned data requests -Assists in planning, testing, assembling, installing and documenting equipment and systems -Provides input for proposals on specified contracts -Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills: Must Have the following skills -Experience preparing and approving Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)s for release to the Government CM -Experience preparing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLS) and maintain tracking databases for reporting delivery status -Proficient in MS Office products Preferred Skills: Preferred -Experience working with Multi-user ECP Automated Review System (MEARS) or related database -Experience working with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) BAE Systems is a premier global defense and security company with approximately 100,000 employees delivering a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support and services.
