Conflicts Analyst recruitment
Top 10 International Law Firm is looking for a Conflicts Assistant to join the large established compliance team. You will be required to work from 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
As the Conflicts Assistant you will take the co responsibility for conducting conflict checks. This will include performing searches utilising in-house databases as well as outside databases; reviewing all searches prior to sending the results to the conflicts team leader in order to insure the accuracy and completeness of the search.
You will be required to assist with the set up and administration of information barriers (from a conflicts perspective). You will be in regularly liaison with the relevant IT team/partners/associates and PA to discuss Information Barrier set up and procedure. You will be issuing forms of undertaking to all team members and ensuring they are returned and filed.
On a regular basis you must check that the electronic security and new team member rules have not been breached as well as authorising access of a new team member.
On an ad hoc basis you will also be required to carry out due diligence on new clients by using a variety of different research tools (mostly web based) Chasing partners / PA's for retainer documentation as necessary, assisting with the file opening procedure and any ad hoc requests relating to New Business Intake process.
To be successful with your application you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and/or qualified in KYC/Compliance and have worked in a professional services environment in a Compliance team for one/two years.
