Conflicts Supervisor recruitment

A truly global law firm is looking for a Conflicts Supervisor to manage a team remotely from London and report into offices in the US. You will be coordinating and supervising a small team of conflicts analysts who are responsible for the review of the new business for the firm's International LLP officer.

As a Conflicts Supervisor you will be managing a team of Analysts and Analyst-Assistants to identify and facilitate resolution of conflicts of interest and firm business issues as it relates to requests associated with potential new business and submitted by any of the international offices.
As the manager you must provide oversight and monitor the team's assignments and progress on the conflicts clearance reviews. You must train and develop the team to ensure they are supported in their careers and getting the most out of their role as well as preparing and undertaking their annual appraisals

You will assist the attorneys in identification and resolution of conflicts of interest and firm business issues as well as coordinating receipt and documentation of client waivers and/or consents.
You will also prepare and implement screens/firewalls when required in new firm matters.

An element of this position will involve consulting with the Senior individuals in firm to ensure that they are guiding the identification and resolution of the conflicts of interest and business issues.

To be suitable for this position you will have previous experience managing a conflicts team within a professional services environment ideally a law firm. You will be educated to degree level, confident in your approach and have proven abilities in multi tasking.
