Connectivity / Channels Solution Architect recruitment
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a VP level Solution Architect to lead the solutioning of a major transformational project for his major Transaction Bank in Singapore. The bank has a impressive strategic roadmap to align all of their global Payments applications and need an experienced architect to focus on their mission critical connectivity projects. This role will focus on ensuring the bank has industry leading Payments Channels as they look to increase their global clearing services.
The main responsibility of the Solution Architect will be to face off to the global business to understand the business requirements and transform the bank's Payments platforms based on Java technologies. You will take a pivotal role in delivering an SOA approach to messaging and the highest frequency of all connectivity channels. A key channel for the bank is their cutting edge Internet Banking platorm and you will become an expert on this to drive it's usage to increase revenue and gain a competitive edge.
This is a role for an experienced Architect who has ran technology transformation projects in a solutioning role. As the primary face off to the business, you will have to have excellent communication skills and be able to drive key technology initiatives in a high pressured banking environment. You should have extensive experience with connectivity either within capital markets or transaction banking, ideally internet banking. It is vital that you have strong databse skills as well as extensive messaging experience in an SOA environment. You will also need to have worked on platforms based on Java and J2EE technologies and able to still have an indepth understanding of how they link to Weblogic / MQ.
