Position Description:
The Global Wealth Management (GWM) Consolidated Financial Reporting team is responsible for all financial results for the GWM segment, including the reporting of Forecasts, Budgets, and Externally Reported Results. This includes providing financials and analytics for the Full Year Forecast, Multi-Year Forecast, and Annual Budget processes. Our clients include Finance Senior Management, the GWM Business, and Firm Management. This role requires a strong associate for these functions. Responsibilities include:
• Ownership of the Multi-Year Forecast model. Interacting with senior management to develop presentations and analytics related to the multi-year forecast.
• Interfacing with Firm Planning and Analysis to supply GWM financials for firm forecast and budget requirements.
• Involvement in the Quarterly Forecast process and related variance analysis for the GWM segment.
• Consolidation of the Annual Budget. Responsible for related analytics and presentations for senior management.
• Monthly Reporting, including variance analysis and ownership of the GWM eliminations process.
• Working to create alternate management reporting views.
• Using various reporting sources to create ad-hoc reports and presentations for senior management.
Skills Required:
• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical skills. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Essbase knowledge a plus.
• Need to be a self-starter; not afraid to ask questions.
• Good communication skills. Must be able to work across teams and interface with senior management.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
