CONSOLIDATION SPECIALIST- MULTINATIONAL COMPANY (LW66)
Greenfield is pleased to be working with a multinational company with operations in Europe, Middle-East and Asia and head quartered in Luxembourg. Due to the creation of a new holding structure (through de-merger) the Client is looking for a Consolidation Specialist to support the implementation of a consolidation process and system from scratch. This role will be well suited to someone who is technically competent; has a hands-on approach and is results-oriented. This is an exciting opportunity that will appeal to a dynamic candidate looking for a new challenge.
The role:
- Collaborate with the Finance Director in developing a new consolidation process according to IFRS standards
- Coordinate the reporting activities of the group's subsidiaries and prepare the consolidated Financial Statements.
- Directly involved in the audit process of the quarterly consolidated Financial Statements
- Initially perform the consolidation process for the group under IFRS in Excel on a quarterly basis, until the consolidation system has been implemented (expected by year-end)
- Participate in the implementation of the group's consolidation system.
The profile:
- BAC+3 in accounting or similar function
- About 5 years of work experience, including relevant experience in a similar function in a Multinational Company
- IFRS experience and knowledge is necessary (finance asset and liabilities is a plus)
- Fluent in English (working language within the group)
- Hands-on approach, ability to adapt quickly and communicate effectively
- Willingness to travel if necessary.
- Knowledge of tax matters is a plus
