Description: My client who has been in the property/casualty insurance industry for many years and is "A" rated is looking for an experienced Construction Defect Claim Examiner in their St. Petersburg, Fl. office.
Responsibilities: Identify "Claims Made" versus "Occurrence" Policies Knowledge of the CGL policy Builders Risk Coverage Exclusions Declination, Non-Waiver letters Coverage Exclusions Care, Custody, Control Factor Faulty Workmanship Work closely with Experts to include Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineers Determine Coverage and Liability Work closely with Attorneys to resolve Mediation, Trials and Arbitration
Requirements: 5 years plus experience analyzing CD claims Thorough knowledge of the CGL policy Bachelor Degree preferred Excellent focus on customer service Excellent verbal and written communication skills
