Role:
Observe work in progress to verify that work performed and materials used are in compliance with plans and specifications. Document and maintain daily record of construction inspection activities. Prepare sketches of construction installations that deviate from blueprints. Measure and verify quantities for payment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Certifications needed include NICET Transportation; Highway Construction Level 1 or higher; ACI Concrete Field Testing Certifications
- Must have experience working with Microsoft office programs (excel and word) and basic typing.
Preferences
- Associates degree in engineering is preferred.
- Three or more years experience in PennDOT documentation and construction inspection of highway or bridges.
- NECEPT Bituminous Pavement Field Technician certification
- Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and specifications.
