Job Description Job Classification: Contract Our Client is a mechanical design build firm that is currently looking to replace their VP of Construction. They are looking for someone who can manage a team of 6 PM's on high rise residential proejcts. Must be strong in problem-resolution and planning and managing projects from inception through completion. This person must have experience in supervising all levels of technicians, engineers, and craft and in building relationships with owners, general contractors, managers and staff. Responsibilities include: Project and Site Management Mechanical Systems of all types Supervision Installation and Commissioning Planning and Development Repair and Maintenance Construction Projects Budgets Requirements: 1) BS degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred but will look at Construction Management 2) PE (Professional Engineering license) preferred 3) Must have experience as a PM on high-rise residential or mixed use projects 4) 25+ years of experience in Construction or Design-Build 5) Must be able to work in the US 6) Must have strong written and verbal communication skills 7) Must have strong personality that will not be pushed around by subs. 8) Must have knowledge of mechanical projects They are looking for someone that is not afraid to get their hands dirty but will be able to suit up for a client meeting and be well spoken.
