Construction Procurement Specialist Jobs Renfrewshire

Our client develops and manages collaborative contracts for the public sector. They are looking to appoint a Procurement Professional who has construction experience and is passionate about delivering results in this tough economic climate.

The Procurement Specialist will responsible for implementing procurement strategies, managing complex procurement contracts, building relationships with Suppliers and Senior Stakeholders, and utilising the right contractual and commercial agreement which recognise and mitigate risk.

You will:-
Have in-depth experience of delivering commercial contracts
Experience of delivering NEC3 contracts
Good, communicating, influencing and negotiating skills.
Have strong stakeholder engagement, ideally within the public sector.
Well-developed planning and organisation skills.
Ability to make high-level decisions within tight timescales.
Expertise at managing strategic or large-scale contracts and ensuring governance is met.
Demonstrable experience in the successful influencing of suppliers to provide additional value
Relevant purchasing experience within Construction Procurement.
