Construction Project Estimator/Superintendent Job in La Verne 91750, California US

We are looking to hire a multifaceted *Construction Project Estimator/Superintendent* with 10+ years of experience in building construction estimating and supervision. Must have *JOC/SABER* contracting experience and recent *estimating computer software* utilization experience. Prepares estimates in response to RFPs for new construction, remodels, and retrofits of existing facilities based on the established scope of work, plans, specifications, and actual site conditions. Performs take-offs and estimates projects by breaking down all expenses including materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required to complete each project. Coordinates with in-house departments, owners, engineers, architects, subcontractors and vendors so that all parties are informed on the project status at all times. Plans project budgets and track expenses through the life of a project. Directs all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget. This includes maintaining the highest quality, supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. Maintains the job site office and closes out projects. Maintains construction schedule, orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process, promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately and maintains an organized job site.

 

This is a full-time, salaried position with health benefits upon completion of the initial three-month probationary period, and eligible for the company's 401(k) plan upon entering second year of employment.
