Construction Project Superintendent and Project Coordinator
Commercial General Contractor seeking to fill immediate openings for projects in Oklahoma:
Project Superintendent
Essential Responsibilities:
Enforce safety procedures
Verify subcontractor certificates of insurance
Prepare and maintain responsibility for CPM job schedule
Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
Order materials and tools
Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports and invoice approval)
Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
Review all drawings, specifications, and submittals
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
5 - 10 years construction experience
Experience in commercial, hospital, special care, recreational, and multi family facilities
Wood frame construction experience desired
Strong scheduling and cost control skills
Prepare and document extra work orders
Project Coordinator
Essential Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain project-filing system
Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs
Distribute all documents to subcontractors, maintain document logs
Assist with preparation of CPM schedules
Assist with updating and maintaining master CPM schedule
Evaluate field problems and document RFI's
Prepare and maintain RFI logs
Review, evaluate, and transmit submittals
Prepare and maintain submittal logs
Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree preferred
Minimum 3 years experience
Basic estimating and scheduling skills
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting
Drafting and computer skills desirable
