Leading Energy Company has a long-term contract opportunity for a Construction Superintendent in the Houston area! Do you have great attention to detail want to be part of a great team? The Construction Superintendent will provide field support to the project team which is building a large-scale farm infrastructure associated with energy grass supply in the gulf coast. The candidate will be a leader in applying strong HSE and quality assurance approaches to all activities. Also, the position will be responsible for onsite/in-field coordinating, managing, ensuring, monitoring and reporting on the field safety, quality, production and technical performance of multiple subcontractors and service providers. Accountabilities : -The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for onsite / in-field coordinating, managing, ensuring, monitoring and reporting on the field safety, quality, production and technical performance of multiple subcontractors and service providers. -Manage the day-to-day performance of personnel and subcontractors, including quality control evaluation and program management -Manages field construction on a medium sized agricultural project. -Planning and implementing construction methods, schedules, and site logistics. -Develop, monitor and execute the project construction plan and schedule. -Supervise, mentor, coach and train field employees. -Organize and coordinate subcontractor activities. -Position requires ability to travel 100% Qualifications : -10-15 years experience in managing agricultural or civil construction work with demonstrated detailed knowledge of construction processes and techniques. -A degree in engineering is a plus, although not necessary provided sufficient experience demonstrated. -Ability to work well in a team encompassing many disciplines as well as independently with minimal supervision -Strong organizational skills ability and experience in organizing work Strong knowledge of safety in construction -Ability to read and analyze engineering drawings -Ability to prioritize and structure multiple-front work efforts to meet deadlines -Strong oral and written communications skills Desirable Criteria : -Spanish speaking -Solid understanding of Clients Major Projects Common Process, Capital Value Process, team building and effective conflict resolution. -Experience in mass earth movement construction projects preferred.
