CONSTRUCTION
WAREHOUSE/ SHOP SUPERVISOR
Kvaerner North American Construction Inc. (KNAC) (previously Aker Construction) one of the largest construction and maintenance contractors in the United States and Canada has an immediate need for a Warehouse/Shop Supervisor. This newly created position will be in the
Southpointe/ Canonsburg area.
The successful person will have a minimum 5 years experience in construction industry supervising warehouse/tool shop, experience operating fork truck or telehandler (lull); experience
with repairing electrical motors and equipment is an added benefit. Supervisory skills to oversee loading trucks, receiving shipments and repairing tools. Valid driver's license is required. Computer skills a must. Duties include: adheres to corporate safety policies while performing day to day operations; maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures; safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols; controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; obtaining quotes and completing requisitions for new tools and consumables; maintains physical
condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement; completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results; contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
