Consultancy, Legal Entity Optimisation recruitment

The division aims to partner with clients in both a business advisory and consulting capacity and based on unprecedented demands for their services, they are looking to recruit a select number of individuals at all levels to support legal entity restructuring and optimisation projects for large clients.

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree and / or relevant professional qualification and/or significant relevant consulting, risk management, finance or business expertise.
• A good general understanding of one or more elements considered in a legal entity restructuring/optimisation programme: regulatory capital, tax, pensions, listed debt, accounting, financial analysis. Experience in Financial forecasting, management reporting, planning and budgeting would be advantageous but is not a requirement
• Good knowledge of the financial services industry and practices
Responsibilities The information below is indicative of responsibilities across a team on a project. The level of responsibility that would be assigned is dependent on the grade at which the individual is recruited, experience of the individual and role on the project. Specific responsibilities include:
• Manage and lead teams of consultancy and client personnel• Project manage projects / project work-streams
• Manage client stakeholder relationships
• Manage and report on project budget
• Produce and present reports, business cases and other client deliverables• Co-ordinate and lead activities such as:
• Support the development of business strategy to contribute to an optimal legal entity structure
• Assess the impact of flow of assets, liabilities and income streams across divisions as part of the strategy development exercise
• Conduct a capital usage analysis of legal entities with a view to release capital locked in legal entities/ propose entities for liquidation
• Stakeholder communication and reporting
• Support the client in the development of a business case to obtain funding for identified projects
• Implementation of legal entity moves, including setting up of stakeholder groups to support delivery
• Understand and manage any business impacts You will also support the continued growth of the legal entity restructuring proposition through involvement in internal development and sales activity such as:
• Development of propositions promoting sales to new and existing clients
• Development of client bids and presentations of proposals
• Graduate and experienced hire recruitment
• Team development activities
• Communications (including presenting)
• Development of personal contact network across consultancy and the financial services industry

• Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging/dynamic work environment
• Strong team player with good organisation, planning and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral/written communication influencing skills
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)• Ability to identify sales opportunities and progress in conjunction with other team members. Proven delivery in sales negotiation and conclusion would be advantageous.
• Sound people management skills and experience of developing and managing a team of professional staff (for senior roles).
