The Alaris® System, the world's first "smart IV pump," is the only modular platform that allows caregivers to standardize every type of infusion on one flexible platform, helping to reduce adverse drug events and potential medication errors.
Accountabilities
- As a Clinical Operations Consultant you would demonstrate deep clinical expertise of the Infusion business unit, particularly the Alaris product, in order to support the CareFusion regional sales team
- Aid in the clinical sale within the business unit, as well as participate in and manage the client in-servicing and staff training of the product
- Collaborate with Center Of Excellence to identify the drivers leading to business success.
- Utilize knowledge of customers' offerings and collaborate with others as necessary to make recommendations that consider the impact of key business drivers
- Advise customers on the potential impact of industry trends and external business pressures in light of their business strategy
- Integrate knowledge of CareFusion's organization structure into solutions development
- Use deep subject matter expertise, influence and process skills to help the enterprise clients and stakeholders identify and meet their high priority needs while considering cultural and diversity implications.
- Draw on best practices and comprehensive technical knowledge to advise internal/external customers in own area of expertise
- Collaborate with internal/external customers to develop a culturally sensitive plan for achieving objectives in a specific area
- Recommend methods for improved work processes, detailing the process's strengths and answering internal/external customers' questions to gain group consensus
Job Family Summary
Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the timely and quality sale, installation and monitoring of CareFusion products and services; may also provide product and service education to facilitate technology adoption and workflow change management.
- Undergraduate degree required
- Advanced degree preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in related field
- Current active RN license
- Up to 50-75% regional and/or national travel required
