Consultant Grp Contracts Dev
Senior Contract Analyst position in Insurance Products Contracts. Provide contracts support for critical illness, long-term care and emerging accident and health product opportunities. Functional Responsibilities: ? Consult with product development team, actuarial, underwriting, law department and operations to identify product specifications ? Develop insurance policy forms based on product specifications ? Regulatory research, analysis and drafting with respect to state requirements that apply to the forms and/or type of group ? Prepare state submissions including state specific materials ? Respond to state insurance department objections and questions ? Negotiate approvals state insurance departments ? Submit rate material developed by actuaries to state insurance departments ? Maintain records of submission activity and approved forms ? Partner with issue system team and product development team to place approved forms in issue system ? Analyze proposed/final laws and regulations to: provide input on proposed laws/regulation; determine impact on policy forms; and implement any required contract changes for implemented laws/regulations in coordination with product and operational partners ? Partner with product areas to address and develop solutions for contract related compliance and customer issues ? Partner with product development teams, GAIRD, law department, compliance areas, actuarial and other internal partners as needed to address and resolve contract related issues MetLife is proud to be an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
