Harrington Starr is currently working with the recognised market leader in regulation, reporting compliance systems to the global financial services / banking industry.
Due to continued growth, success and market dominance they require a professional services consultant / business analyst / implementation specialist / project manager to join their London office.
This is a multi-faceted and highly varied role that will see you working in a very hands-on manner with clients to on-board new systems develop / grow clients into major account business.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Project Managing new system implementations: Designing project plans, allocating resources, running project progress on client site and engaging with clients to report on project progress
- Carry out Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, specification production (predominantly functional specifications)
- Advise clients on business architecture requirements surrounding their compliance / regulation
- Working as an account manager to major account clients
- Produce high-level project documentation update information
- Working alongside the sales team in pre-sales engagements
My client is looking for a professional services consultant / business analyst / implementation specialist / project manager who is able to effectively link together business and IT for their clients.
You will be given a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity for significant career progression within a market leader.
To be considered for this fantastic and rewarding position you will clearly demonstrate:
- Experience in the financial services IT industry
- Some knowledge of compliance (ideally around KYC / AML although other areas of regulation compliance would also be of use)
- Technical knowledge surrounding UNIX, SQL RDBMS and some knowledge of webservers (Websphere, weblogic Apache tomcat) - my client is not looking for a programmer or developer but technical skill would be extremely useful for the role
- Some experience of project management / implementation work would be very beneficial
In addition to this, you will have excellent communication skills (both written verbal) to enable you to interact with clients and will be highly motivated towards a progressive challenging career in the financial services IT industry.
This is a hugely rewarding role that will see you work directly with top-tier firms from across the financial services world. You will be given in-depth training and will be rewarded for hard work with increased responsibility the chance to progress to more senior positions in the organisation.
