Consultant (Security Tester)- Cyber-Melbourne

The pace of technological change is accelerating. PwC Cyber unites the firms information security, resilience, cybercrime response, and technology risk teams to help clients manage their end-to-end information risks. We are currently seeking experienced/keen Security Testers to join our exciting new Cyber division. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide hands on expertise around assessments of the Information security environment of our clients, and formulate recommendations to better manage their business risks
- Security assessments and testing services e.g. Code reviews
- Network architecture and Operating System security
- Network and web application penetration testing
- Reviewing and recommending technical and business critical improvements to system and network security controls
- Computer forensic investigations
To be successful in this position it is envisaged that you have a solid background within IT Security (ideally at least 2 years) and have completed or be working towards relevant professional qualifications such as CISA/CISSP/CEH/CREST. With a solid knowledge of Information Security principles and practices, this position will require you to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team depending on our clients' requirements. You will display a passion for Security and possess advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will allow you to form solid relationships with external clients as well as your team.
